Over 21 years, Artgym has built an international reputation for behavioral-science-led programmes working with global enterprises across 33 countries, the business delivers meaningful and measurable transformation.

Shareholders Dr. Eugene Hughes and Douglas Brown sought a strategic partner capable of amplifying their mission – to ignite the power of people creating together and shape a future of work where people and performance thrive side by side.

Avondale’s extensive internal research capabilities together with a highly targeted marketing campaign, and presented Artgym to nearly 100 potential trade and private equity acquirers – generating multiple competitive offers.

Sanctus Group, backed by Scale Up Capital, emerged as the ideal acquirer, consisting of Sanctus, a leading workplace coaching provider that helps organisations empower their people to adapt, innovate and grow, and PushFar, one of the world’s leading mentoring platforms, enabling organisations to build impactful and measurable mentoring programmes.

This strategic acquisition will combine these pioneers in their respective fields – Artgym’s leadership and culture transformation expertise, Sanctus’s pioneering workplace coaching and PushFar’s cutting-edge mentoring technology – to provide clients a market leading offering.

As part of the transaction, Dr. Eugene Hughes will remain Chief Executive of Artgym and will join the Sanctus Group board as Group Chief Psychologist. Douglas Brown will become Director of Experience and Innovation.
