Founded in 1992 in St Albans, The Magic Transfer Company pioneered digital image transfer technology for promotional products, evolving from a small retail unit into a market leader through innovation and strategic partnerships. Its product range expanded from coated transfer papers and heat presses to workwear, sportswear, and garment decoration.

For founders James and Alison Nicol, transferring ownership to employees was the ideal exit strategy, safeguarding the company’s culture and future.
