Avondale is delighted to have advised on the successful sale of SALUS (Building Control & Fire Safety Consultants) to an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT).

Founded in 2002, SALUS has delivered over 54,500 projects across England and Wales, earning a reputation for innovation, collaboration, and commitment to a safer, sustainable built environment. For shareholders Paul Meadows, Paul Morris, and Stuart Power, transferring ownership to their 80-strong team was a natural exit strategy – rewarding employees, preserving culture, and securing a structured transition.

The transaction, completed at full commercial value, saw Avondale manage the process end-to-end; including feasibility, valuation, HMRC clearance, legal structuring, change management and trustee setup, alongside strategic advice on the EOT model.

This is more than a deal – it’s a celebration of SALUS’ people and purpose, safeguarding its legacy and powering future growth.
