Station View Garage

Station View Garage has been trading since 1994 when it was set up by Andrew and Justine Pirt. Initially operating from a small, rented workshop in Dorking, over the next 12 months they invested in modern tooling and equipment and gained VOSA accreditation for MOT testing.

In 1995, Greg Wheeler joined the business, and this enabled them to expand the MOT testing services and attract MOT business from other local garages. Today, this successful business provides a range of car garage services including car service, tyres, MOT and repairs for customers in Dorking and the surrounding area.

As Andrew, Justine and Greg started to consider their retirement plans and the succession of the business, they identified employee ownership as the best strategy to position the business for the future, secure its legacy and reward their workforce.

The sale was completed at full commercial value with Avondale overseeing the entire process, including valuation, HMRC clearance, establishment of the trust company and legal documentation.
