Ambiente Tapas is an independent Spanish Tapas style restaurant chain operating five venues in the heart of York, Leeds and Hull. The company offers casual and authentic dining with a strong focus on quality encompassing all areas of their business; from Spanish and locally sourced ingredients to exceptional and knowledgeable service.

With a proven business model, centralised systems and processes, a sustainable market, strong and long-established management team and reducing shareholder involvement, the owners decided that selling the business to an Employee Ownership Trust was the right exit strategy; both rewarding their employees and providing a framework for continued growth and success.
